LSL Established
The Liberia School of Law (LSL) was established in response to the critical shortage of licensed lawyers in Liberia, where only around 400 legal professionals serve a population of approximately 5.5 million people. The growing demand for legal services in the country has highlighted the need for more trained lawyers to ensure justice and access to legal resources. Many of LSL’s founders are alumni of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, and while they deeply value their education there, they recognize the necessity of an additional institution to further develop legal education and practice in Liberia​
