LAW 107 Criminal Law
Course Description
This course surveys the fundamentals of criminal law, including the elements of and defenses to specific crimes, particularly the various types of homicide. More broadly, the course examines the purposes of criminal punishment and how the application of criminal law may implicate fundamental rights protected by the Constitution, including the right to due process and equal protection of the law.
